THE ORIGINS

San Roque de la Encina represents the union of a village, Castrillo de la Vega. It represents the combined strength of many winegrowers committed to doing things well, the struggle to realise a collective dream. San Roque de la Encina was born from that dream in 1956. Today, the descendants of those brave vintners maintain their commitment to a common goal: “To pass on their nurture and care for their grapes to their wines, the fruit of their hard work and dedication.” Bodega San Roque de la Encina is a tribute to all those people, our parents, our children and the generations to come.
